This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which The Connecticut Hospice, Inc. collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the www.hospice.com website (“Site”). Credit card information collected online is used only for the purposes of completing a transaction as specified by the User on our donation pages.

• To process transactions and requests.  We may use the information Users provide about themselves when making a donation or submitting a request regarding volunteering, for example, only to service that donation or to respond to that request. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to carry out the donation or respond to the request.
• To send periodic emails. The email address Users provide will be used to send them information and updates pertaining to their donation or request. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, and/or other requests or questions. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include organization news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site.
• To improve the functionality of our site.

When we might share your information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your name and phone number except as expressly stated in this Privacy Policy.  We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.
